You can open Keychain Access and import the root certificate generated in "OpenSSL Self-Signed CA". That will cause your code signing cert to be trusted and get rid of the CSSMERR_TP_NOT_TRUSTED error. Note that this will only fix it on your machine for testing purposes. For distribution you'll need to get a code signing cert from a real CA.

Hi,
I got error CSSMERR_TP_NOT_TRUSTED.
You said:
"If you chose to sign the application with a self-signed cert, please note that OS X won’t trust it unless you add the created root to your Keychain."

What do you mean by "add the crated root to your Keychain"? what is the "created root"?

Thanks!
