I also agree with Bengt77′s request for the contextual menu item to be moves to the menu you get when you click on the tabs (like it is with Chrome and Firefox).

As an aside, if you or anyone else would create or knows of someone who has created a “Pin Tab” option like you can get with Firefox that would be fantastic!

Also looking for history to be duplicated. There was some browser that I used to use that had that feature – probably at the window level (before tabs). You could duplicate the window and it would retain the history from the original window. Very useful when you are doing research on the iNet – think about going down a path and wanting to easily retain that path, but also back up a few steps and try another path… and another and another, etc. each with their own \break\ points or \branching\ points in your search tree.

I would also like to see the contextual menu item moved to the menu you get when you right-click on the tabs themselves. It makes little sense for me to get the ‘Duplicate Tab’ option when right-clicking somewhere on the page.

Also, I would like to fourth the request for the history to be copied to the duplicated tab.

Works nicely, but for me it is missing one crucial feature. It does not duplicate the history for the tab… something I’ve been very use to on Firefox.

Any chance you’ll be adding this feature?

I also think the features suggested by Andrew and worthy of attention. 1) Include in Tab context menu, 2) allow for double clicking the tab to duplicate.

Great extension otherwise. Thanks for your hard work creating it. Much appreciated.

It works, but doesn’t seem to duplicate the tab’s history, as Chrome and extensions for Firefox do.

Why do you need this extension when you could just hit CMD+Return, or CMD+SHIFT+Return inside the URL bar?
